During the renew of the house, our client contact us via his designer, requesting for both Home Broadband Plan and a Whole-Home Wi-Fi coverage.
Solution
After conversation, we decide to go for HKT Premium 1000m plan, and decide to use TP-Link Deco Whole-Home Mesh Wi-Fi System.
As the floor plan and device map showing above, it's a very complicate installation. we decided to install the modem on B1/F. Other then the 3 routers there, We rewire ethernet cable through existing tubes. From B1 to ELV box outside the house on ground floor. And since it's impossible to get access to electricity there and unable to install a network switch, we're forced to wire into bedroom on G/F, then living room, back outside to ELV box, and finally main bedroom on B2.
Result
By connecting all the cables hide inside tubes with Deco routers in each room, we're able to get over 700mb/s download speed all around the unit. Our client is satisfied with the result. As it's more than enough for his working and the kids' online lessons.
